LibreCAD is a 2D CAD drawing tool based on the community edition of QCad. LibreCAD has been re-structured and ported to qt4 and works natively cross on OSX, Windows and Linux platforms. LibreCAD uses the AutoCAD DXF file format internally for import and save files, as well as allowing export to many other file formats.
It is a plug-in that provides interoperability between AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
